About Us
Retaining high performing staff is an escalating and expensive problem for Australian public services. Healthy Workplaces is an intensive investigation of a recently developed and piloted staff training program to improve the health, performance, and management of 'high-stress' public service workers.
Healthy Workplaces expands on the recent research collaborations between Queensland Police Service (QPS) and Griffith University to develop an innovative workplace intervention targeting physical health, psychological well-being, and staff performance. Healthy Workplaces proposes to produce a cost-saving relating to employee ill-health, psychological injury claims and inadequate work performance.
